Road Closure Alert | Sunday 19 May 24
2024 ESSAR Chester Half Marathon
On Sunday 19th May you may need to allow extra time for your journey to Church or to arrange an alternative method of transport as there will be some road closures restricting access through Chester.

Please see this link which clearly shows the affected roads and times https://bit.ly/CHMRoadClosures. This is an interactive map, please click on each road to see the road closure times and the highlighted areas near some roads describe any access or egress. The traffic order is being finalised; however, the link will always show the most updated information.

This week is Yellow Sunday, so we’ll be meeting for our morning service on Sunday 19th May at 10:30am in the Main Hall!  Join us for a time of Worship, Word,  Children’s classes, Prayer & Fellowship.  Looking forward to seeing you all!

Pentecost at the Cross

This Sunday 19th May at 5.00pm the churches in Chester are gathering together at the cross. 
Come and join the wider Church family in Chester to worship and pray together this Pentecost.

Saturday 29 June 24 Paul Manwaring

The Church is the only hope for the world. And you have been called for such a time as this to play your part in the commissioning. As we move towards new and unchartered horizons, God sends people, sometimes further down the line than us, to help us individually and corporately, to navigate new waters. Paul Manwaring is one of these people.

Paul is a man who has given his life to raising world-changing individuals and organizations. He began in the UK, and has continued this mission together with his wife Sue, in both the USA and now again in Europe and the UK. His desire is to bring the heart of the Father to each believer and to help release them into their full calling and purpose. It is with this mandate in mind that he is coming to:

Northgate Church on June 29th, speaking at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Come and join us to see what God wants to say to you

Hearing God 12 June & 10 July at 7.30pm

Following on from our really successful Hearing God course, we want to provide opportunities to keep practicing and developing the skills we learnt. Therefore we have organized two further dates to do this:

Wednesday June 12th at 7.30 till 9pm

Wednesday July 10th at 7.30 till 9pm

Please come and join us to keep honing our sensitivity to God.

Office Closed 20th – 27th May
Please note, the Church office will be closed from Monday 20th May through to the Bank holiday Monday on the 27th May and will reopen on Tuesday, 28th May 2024.

Blue Sunday : 12th May 2024

7.00pm Evening Worship Service
This week is the second Sunday of the month (Blue Sunday), where we gather together from 7.00pm to worship our God through sung worship, and other forms of creative expressions too. Art materials are ready and waiting for your God-given creativity including: pads, paints, pastels, felt tips, pencils etc.  Come and join us to put all else aside and meet with Jesus.

followed by a Celebration Evening in the evening at:
 
Saturday 29th June at 7.30pm.

Exciting New Job Opportunity

Our children’s work has grown so significantly over the last 18 months, that we are now seeking to stay ahead of the curve, and employ a dynamic Youth Worker, ready to develop the older children as they transition from children to youth.

Masquerade Ball | 14 Sep 24
Kidsbank are holding a masquerade Ball on the 14th September with Fizz on arrival, a rather splendid buffet, canapes, a live auction with a rather fabulous real Auctioneer!! and a raffle followed by a disco.

The tickets will be £50 per head in aid of Kidsbank of Chester.  Contact 0151 328 5730

Venue: The Woodcote Hotel, Hooton Road, CH66 1QU | Doors open at 7.00pm

Purple Sunday

Diving Deeper at 10.30am
This week is a Purple Sunday! We will be kicking off on Sunday 28th April with Diving Deeper at 10:30am. Bring your Bible, notepad and pen. Coffee will be provided.

Little Church at 4.00pm
At 4pm we have our wonderful Little Church where we will be looking at God’s Word in a child-friendly, creative way. Come along and join in our family orientated service. All are very welcome.
