Our mission is simple:

To share God’s love with you. That’s it.

A family of hope…

Northgate Church is a lively community church for all ages.

An envisioned church incorporating dynamic youth and children’s ministry, active work with students and a comprehensive community programme.

We relate closely with many different churches in and around Chester, known collectively as ‘Link-Up’.

You are most welcome to attend any of the wide range of groups and activities that run during the week or join us on Sunday at 10.30am for our main meeting in the church.

Visit our About page to find out more about our story, leadership, vision & what we believe.

We don’t have a car park at Northgate Church, but Garden Lane Car Park, a pay and display car park is just a two minute walk away. If you choose to park at Garden Lane Car Park, please click here to follow the map to find how to get to us; go underneath the overpass onto Lorne Street, walk up the small drive between houses numbers 10 and 12, and up the steps and turn left into our church courtyard.

There are other car parks in Chester, with Market and Delamere Street being some of the closest to Northgate Church after Garden Lane Car Park; please click here to get directions. Alternatively, you may find limited but free parking on the streets around us.

Church is Connection and Community

Church is a connected community of people with a shared vision and purpose.

Our vision is to help people know God and follow Jesus. This always works best, when we are connected to the life of the church.

We call these connections iconnect.

We have a series of iconnect groups which will enable you to build effective and relevant relationships so that you know you belong here.

We meet every week in Life groups.

We also do many things including:

Marriage course, Youth Activities, Prayer, and Students events.

We love Chester!

We work hard at making Chester and this area a better place to live in.

There are many community projects for you to get involved with, which express the love of God to our City.

All we do to love our City happens under the banner of M28.

Find out more about our current projects, which include Alpha and Empowered Evangelist.

Is He relevant for your life?

Can He help you? Does He care? Is He really alive? Can He change your life?
