SUNDAYS at Northgate

It all begins with Breakfast.

From 9.30pm our fantastic Bistro team will be serving breakfast. Come and join us in the back hall, grab a bacon sandwich and mug of your favourite brew. Relax and get to know each other, or take your breakfast through to:

Bible & Breakfast

An informal Bible study group, where we dive into God’s word together. With Breakfast.

Main Service

At 10.30am our service begins in the Mail Hall. Our worship style is contemporary and Spirit-filled, followed by uplifting teaching from God’s word.

Children of all ages are welcome and provided for  – we have a parent & child play  area at the back of church, and children’s groups begin after the sung worship.

No special dress code, no formality – just come as you are.

We usually finish our services at 12:00, and then serve refreshments so we can enjoy each other’s company in God’s presence.

Children & Youth

Children from ages 0 – 15 have their own clubs, staffed by our enthusiastic (and DBS checked) team.

Our address

Upper Northgate Street (next to the Fountains Roundabout), Chester CH1 4EF

We don’t have a car park at Northgate Church, but Garden Lane Car Park, a pay and display car park is just a two minute walk away. If you choose to park at Garden Lane Car Park, please click here to follow the map to find how to get to us; go underneath the overpass onto Lorne Street, walk up the small drive between houses numbers 10 and 12, and up the steps and turn left into our church courtyard.

There are other car parks in Chester, with Market and Delamere Street being some of the closest to Northgate Church after Garden Lane Car Park; please click here to get directions. Alternatively, you may find limited but free parking on the streets around us.

Church is Connection and Community

Church is a connected community of people with a shared vision and purpose.

Our vision is to help people know God and follow Jesus. This always works best, when we are connected to the life of the church.

We call these connections iconnect.

We have a series of iconnect groups which will enable you to build effective and relevant relationships so that you know you belong here.

We meet every week in Life groups.

We also do many things including:

Marriage course, Youth Activities, Prayer, and Students events.

We love Chester!

We work hard at making Chester and this area a better place to live in.

There are many community projects for you to get involved with, which express the love of God to our City.

Sign up for our weekly bulletin below to find out about our current projects and how you can get involved!
